Los Brazos were born in 2011 coincidentally coinciding at Café La Zona, a place that William ran and where he used to play every Thursday. Soon the three of them started a musical project that took off like a rocket. In 2012 they released their first album “Delay, 10 Classic Tracks”, a tribute to their classic rock and blues influences that allowed them to appear at blues festivals and start rolling non-stop all over the “piel del toro”, reaching local radios, blogs, magazines… and even the United States, in a short Tour in which they visited the states of Indiana, Illinos, Michigan and Wisconsin.
The band proposes an original way to raise funds, not only through the sales of the song, but also through the mere listening and streaming, as well as the appearance in the media, concerts… the sky is the limit, and any royalty generator will serve to raise funds: the more the video is shared and watched, the more each visit will generate.
From the outskirts of Bilbao, this power trio emerges with a rocking unusual force that only those who have been playing rock music since early teenage hood can exhibit. Its name takes after Gov’t Mule’s famous song ‘Broke down on the Brazos’ with the purpose to capture the flavor of southern rock. The band gathers a powerful vocalist and virtous guitar player (Guillermo Gutierrez “William”) propelled by two old friends with more than 11 albums behind: José Miguel “Txemi” Gándara at the bass guitar, and Alberto “Koki” Chamorro, at the drums, do an impeccable job on the rhythm section in which every beat finds its place.
